The Farm To Table Experience
During the Spring and Fall we partner with Sun Raised Foods to provide a unique whole farm experience. Guests arrive and share a welcome drink with visitors from across the state. Groups are make an given guided tours the farm’s barns, pastures and 123 acre solar array. Afterwards, everyone sits down for a gourmet farm to table dinner featuring lamb from the farm and local produce from nearby farms. The Montgomery Sheep Farm was awarded the North American Solar Ranch of the year in 2024 and continues to inspire projects across the country. Our lamb are raised on the green pastures of our solar farm according to Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) standards and without the use of antibiotics.
The solar panels protect our sheep from the summer heat and winter rain, creating a nutrient rich diet from diverse native vegetation. The result is a healthier and happier animal.
