Micro-Grid and Renewable Energy

Montgomery Sheep Farm operates entirely off the electrical grid using a solar photovoltaic array and lithium ion batteries. We completed this project to demonstrate the feasibility of micro-grid technology, and open our doors to visitors, students, and research institutions interested in this technology.

Our farm is certified by AGW and we are constantly trying new things to reduce our environmental footprint, improve the lives of our animals, and sell the best quality product that we can.
